Fares
Our fares for journeys within the local area are metered at the rate set by our licensing authority, North Norfolk District Council.
The minimum charge is £2.70 which covers any journey up to 9/10 of a mile. Beyond that distance, the meter advances in 10 pence steps at a rate equivalent to £1.55 per mile. The following table shows the approximate one-way fares from Stalham for some popular destinations:

If you ask us to wait before continuing a journey, the meter advances at a rate equivalent to 47 pence for each 2 minutes waiting time. If you ask us to wait and then take you back to the place from which we picked you up, then we charge only half-fare for the return journey.
Although the tariffs to which we work allow for a 50% rate increase after 11 p.m. and for higher charges on a Sunday, we believe that these make the fares unreasonably high and thus we continue to operate at the standard rate for both late-night journeys and all day Sunday. We do, however, apply a 25% increase for any journey commencing before 7 a.m. and for bookings during the designated Christmas & New Year holidays. This higher rate is still well below the maximum permitted by our official tariff.
We do not apply a separate charge per piece of luggage, nor do we charge the listed per-mile extra amount for additional passengers, except in the case of jobs requiring the minibus.
For longer journeys we apply a fixed fare which is well below the metered rate, and we will be pleased to quote you for any destination within Great Britain.
Below are our current fares for the major airports. If you book for us to collect you from an airport we will normally ask you for the flight number so that we may contact airport arrivals ahead of time to check for any delays or changes to the terminal.
